About Me

My photo
I suppose I'm your typical gemini. Energetic and talkative. Enjoys whiskey on the rocks. Endures fitness. tells it like it is (majority time), ambitious and passionate peppered with worriment. I aim towards staying positive and live life day to day even though I'm merely punctual yet a planner freak. Needless to say, half asian, half amazing. ha, word.

panderisms

uh huh, panderisms. More like my own personal mannerisms. So, I admit, I tend to over-analyze but whatever, don't judge me. Kind of a random post today, feel as if I have a small tolerance for motivation. I blame the heat. Anyway...I've been wondering lately...about people in general I guess.

So, when you finally induce yourself to new boundaries and friends you've grown to love sooner than later, perhaps more than usual...what do you do? Can one not help but wonder why these people never came around sooner? What about old friends? Do they still feel the same way they did one year ago? Perhaps the norm of what may be valued as friendship and love in the last several months have changed but its mind-boggling that everyone is getting older, getting over and making newer. Not sure if it all makes sense or not but new windows have been opened and its time to take the opportunity for new chapters in life. Choose your doors, seize your days by one at a time, be real and do something in order to make yourself happy. Remind yourself that being selfish is definitely okay once in a while.

However, lately it seems friends and family have been famished for some positive reinforcement. Sometimes I've found it hard to put letters into words to feed my soul. This is why the internet is fabulous. Gives us the chance to look for inspiration vicariously through others. I find that quotes are amazing cuz the badasses that received cite worthy admiration help stimulate the, well to put it simply, over-analyzing, self-worrying, paranoid inhabitants that we are. I think that what goes in your mind has the power to shape what you think, believe and ultimately how you behave. In subliminal motivation, the act of repeating the same affirmation over and over, has the ability to generate amazing changes. Digest these for a bit;

"Challenges are what makes life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful." - J. Marine

"The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." - Abe Lincoln (see I told you, Abe knows what's up)

"Walk in love, and love your neighbor as you do yourself. Don't harbor unforgiveness in your heart, for if you do, you give the devil a foothold into your life." Luke

"Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear ,discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success." -Anonymous
